I got miss clairevoyant off to program, played around on the computer a little, and promply went back to bed, until 8. <br /><br />I was having some sexy dream, when the alarm rang.<br /><br />I took a shower, imagining a cute nurse helper.<br /><br />I walked over to this neon place, but it was gone.<br /><br />I saw all the going out of business signs on the way home.<br /><br />depressing.<br /><br />My ex wife came over, because her window wouldn't roll up.<br /><br />I still love her too.<br /><br />I fixed it.<br /><br />It was a tarnished switch in the door panel.<br /><br />I had to take apart the door panel,<br /><br />write a schematic,<br /><br />test the window motor,<br /><br />and deduce it was the switch,<br /><br />without a meter.<br /><br />The dinamic duo<br /><br />had killed my meter,<br /><br />so I made one out of a light bubulb.<br /><br />I scraped the contacts on the switch<br /><br />and it worked!<br /><br />Fred Flintstone would have never been so proud!<br /><br />I think I need a Diesel amp <br /><br />and 412 cabinets to express myself. urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:arenastyle:2990 2006-07-28T04:06:51Z 2006-07-28T04:06:51Z The name Arena Style was originally coined by <span class='ljuser ljuser-name_mrsurfdude' lj:user='mrsurfdude' style='white-space: nowrap; text-decoration: line-through;'><a href='http://mrsurfdude.livejournal.com/profile'><img src='http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif' alt='[info]' width='17' height='17' style='vertical-align: bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;' /></a><a href='http://mrsurfdude.livejournal.com/'><b>mrsurfdude</b></a></span>. He used to live across the street from me. I taught him a little bit about repairing surf boards. I used to go over to his house and hang out in front, usually drinking beers. We started talking about guitars, too. He took this old cheap tube amp and cut the box down and created a tiny tube amp head. It was pretty cool looking. <br /><br />One day, he came over to my apartment and we hooked up everything that we had. It was a massive tangle of wires and amps and effects and guitars and microphones. I hooked up my old Echoplex and showed him how it changes the size of the room. With a little delay, it sounds like a small room. A little more delay, and it sounds like a large room. More delay and it sounds like a sports arena. Maximum delay sounds like a stadium. All the entries are still there, but I made them all private. Shannon and I didn't get along. It's just a fact. She didn't even suggest this. I'm just doing this on my own. This isn't out of spite. I wish it had worked out. I really do! I still love her. I tried the best I could. I'm just letting go. It's sad, but I must move on.
